Hackner finished 8-5 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hackner lost 6-5 to McCarville, then responded with a 8-1 win over Mike Pozihun (Thunder Bay, ON). Hackner won 9-1 against Allen Macsemchuk (Thunder Bay, ON). Hackner went on to lose 6-5 against Ben Mikkelsen (Thunder Bay, ON). Hackner responded with a 8-3 win over Koivula. Hackner went on to lose 6-4 against Weiss. Hackner responded with a 11-1 win over Hailey Beaudry (Thunder Bay, ON).
