In their opening game, Tirinzoni defeated Alina Paetz (Zurich, SUI) 7-6, then won 9-8 against Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI) and 7-6 against Feltscher. Tirinzoni won 7-6 against Paetz, then won 7-6 against Paetz and 6-3 against Feltscher in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Swiss Olympic Trials Championship title, Tirinzoni earned 27.012 world rankings points, remaining in 4th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 523.363 total points. Tirinzoni ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 136.774 points earned so far this season.
