Penny Barker (Moose Jaw, SK) won 4-3 over Rae Ann Williamson (Weyburn, SK) in the Final of the Regina Callie Rockoberfest, held October 6 - 8, 2017 in Regina, Saskatchewan. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Barker won 7-5 over Patty Hersikorn (Saskatoon, SK) to advance to the championship game. of the 2017 Regina Callie Rockoberfest in Regina, Saskatchewan;

Barker finished 3-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Barker defeated Lisa Wyatt (Lumsden, SK) 8-4, then won 9-4 against Rachel Erickson (Regina, SK) and 6-5 against Sara England (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Regina Callie Rockoberfest Championship title, Barker earned 15.654 world rankings points along with the $1,400CDN first prize cheque, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 57th place overall with 71.178 total points. Barker ranks 58th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 16.450 points earned so far this season.
