Mark Homan (Baie d'Urfe, QC) qualified for the 2017 Experience Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-2 against Michael Fournier (Montreal, QC). of the 2017 Experience Curling Classic in Baie d'Urfé, Quebec, Canada;

Homan finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Simon Dupuis (Thurso, QC) 7-6, then went on to lose 7-4 against Martin Lavoie (Baie d'Urfe, QC). Homan responded with a 10-0 win over Adam Freilich (Montreal, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

Homan earned 5.253 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Experience Curling Classic, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 129th place overall with 30.879 total points. Homan ranks 108th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 15.458 points earned so far this season.
