In their opening game, Walter defeated Shae Bevan (Winnipeg, MB) 7-0, then won 9-7 against Alexandra Friesen (Winnipeg, MB) and 9-1 against Serena Gray-Withers (Springfield, MB). Walter won 10-1 against Cassandra Stobbe (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
