Thomas Dunlop (Stonewall, MB) run at the 2017 MJCT Tour Championships came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-1 loss to Brayden Payette (Brandon, MB).
 
Dunlop finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dunlop defeated Zachary Wasylik (Winnipeg, MB) 8-3, then won 6-2 against Carter Watkins (Swan River, MB) and 6-5 against Jordan Peters (Winnipeg, MB). Dunlop went on to lose 15-5 against Brandon Radford (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
