Jordan Peters (Winnipeg, MB) won 5-3 over Josh Maisey (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Kyle Flett Memorial MJCT, held November 9 - 12, 2017 at the Petersfield Curling Club in Petersfield, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Peters won 7-4 over Brayden Payette (Brandon, MB) in the semifinals of the 2017 Kyle Flett Memorial MJCT in Petersfield, Manitoba, Canada; and won 4-2 over Jack Hykaway (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals.
 
Peters finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Peters defeated Joshua Friesen (Morris, MB) 6-3, then won 8-5 against Zack Bilawka (Winniepg, MB) and 6-4 against Zachary Wasylik (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
