Carson finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Carson defeated Pavel Mares (Prague, CZE) 10-1, then won 9-4 against Henwy Lochmann (Lausanne, SUI). Carson went on to lose 8-4 against Callum Kinnear (Perth, SCO). Carson responded with a 8-4 win over Olaf Bolkenbaas (Zoetermeer, NED). Carson won 6-3 against Jake Barker (Kent, ENG) in their final qualifying round match.
