Farnell went on to lose 5-4 against Dorottya Palancsa (Budapest, HUN). Farnell lost 5-4 to Virginija Paulauskaite (Vilnius, LTU) in their final qualifying round match.
Farnell earned 5.210 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 26 spots the World Ranking Standings into 183rd place overall with 9.163 total points. Farnell ranks 165th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.554 points earned so far this season.
