Reed went on to lose 10-8 against Israel's Alex Pokras. Reed responded with a 8-2 win over Daniel Poulsen (Hvidovre, DEN) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships, Reed take home 16.459 world rankings points, moving up 121 spots the World Ranking Standings into 158th place overall with 22.418 total points.
