In their opening game, Murphy lost 7-6 to Breanna Rozon (Toronton, ON), then responded with a 9-3 win over Mackenzie Kiemele (Niagara Falls, ON). Murphy went on to lose 7-3 against Quinn Walsh (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
