Ildiko Szekeres/Gyeorgy Nagy (Budapest, HUN) won 7-6 over Anastasia Moskaleva/Alexander Eremin (Dmitrov, RUS) in the Final of the Westbay Hungarian Mixed Doubles Cup, held March 15 - 18, 2018 in Budapest, Hungary. To advance to the championship game, Szekeres/Nagy won 10-6 over Maria Komarova/Daniil Goryachev (St. Petersburg, RUS) in the semifinals of the 2018 Westbay Hungarian Mixed Doubles Cup in Budapest, Hungary; and won 6-3 over Dorottya Palancsa/Zsolt Kiss (Budapest, HUN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 Westbay Hungarian Mixed Doubles Cup in Budapest, Hungary;
 
Szekeres/Nagy finished 3-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Szekeres/Nagy lost 7-6 to Bernadett Biro/Otto Kalocsay (Budapest, HUN), then responded with a 9-2 win over Judith McCleary/Lee McCleary (Edinburgh, SCO). Szekeres/Nagy won 11-1 against Karolina Florek/Arkadiusz Polak (Lodz, POL), then won 15-1 against Anna Weghuber/Markus Schagerl (Linz, AUT). Szekeres/Nagy went on to lose 7-5 against Komarova/Goryachev in their final qualifying round match.
