Greg Ferster (Leduc, AB) won 6-3 over Alberta's Ken Hunka in the Final of the Alberta Labatt Tankard, held February 9 - 14, 1993 at the The Glencoe Club in Calgary, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Ferster won 5-4 over Alberta's Lorne Campbell in the semifinals of the 1993 Alberta Labatt Tankard in Calgary, Alberta, Canada;

Ferster finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ferster defeated Doran Johnson (Calgary, AB) 5-4, then won 4-2 against Alberta's Lorne Campbell. Ferster went on to lose 4-3 against Alberta's Ken Hunka. Ferster responded with a 5-4 win over Gord Konowalyk (Grimshaw, AB). Ferster went on to lose 5-2 against Alberta's Marvin Wirth. Ferster responded with a 5-4 win over Harold Breckenridge (Springbank, AB). Ferster won 5-4 against Scott Egger (Brooks, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Alberta Labatt Tankard Championship title, Ferster earned 0.000 world rankings points. For week of the event schedule, Ferster did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
