In their opening game, Turmann/Lill lost 13-5 to Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Glarus, SUI), then responded with a 8-6 win over Skaslien/Nedregotten. Turmann/Lill won 10-2 against Dace Regza/Ansis Regza (Riga, LAT), then won 6-5 against Daniela Rupp/Kevin Wunderlin (Zug, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
