Baxter/Dacey finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Baxter/Dacey lost 8-7 to Bobbie Sauder/Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB), then responded with a 7-6 win over Becca Wood/Thomas Usselman (Denver, USA).
