Kasner/Kalthoff lost 8-5 to Chelsea Carey/Colin Hodgson (Calgary, AB) where Kasner/Kalthoff responded with a 7-3 win over Leah Thompson/Charlie Sullivan (Saint John, NB). Kasner/Kalthoff won 7-4 against Rui Wang/De Xin Ba (Harbin, CHN). Kasner/Kalthoff went on to lose 8-3 against Monica Walker/Jason Smith (Blaine, USA) in their final qualifying round match.
