Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC) won 4-3 over Matthew McCrady (New Westminster, BC) in the Final of the Anita Cochrane Memorial Junior Men, held September 22 - 24, 2017 at the Royal City Curling Club in New Westminster, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Tardi won 1-0 over Jesse Monette (Vernon, BC) in the semifinals   
 
Tardi finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tardi defeated Jackson Marshall (Parksville, BC) 12-1, then won 7-0 against Gordon Clarkson (Vancouver, BC) and 8-4 against Dawson Ballard (New Westminster, BC). Tardi won 9-2 against Nathan Silva (Langley, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 7 of the event schedule, Tardi did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tardi ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
