Danielle Inglis (Toronto, ON) lost 10-7 to Hollie Duncan (Toronto, ON) in the Final of the Ontario Scotties, held January 10 - 14, 2018 in Whitby, Ontario.

Inglis finished 4-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Inglis defeated Hailey Armstrong (Ottawa, ON) 8-3, then won 8-4 against Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON) and 8-6 against Jacqueline Harrison (Mississauga, ON). Inglis won 6-3 against Allison Flaxey (Caledon, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Ontario Scotties, Inglis take home 23.485 world rankings points. Inglis move up 7 spots after posting a net gain of 22.882 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 53rd overall with 119.937 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
