Hollie Duncan (Toronto, ON) won 10-7 over Danielle Inglis (Toronto, ON) in the Final of the Ontario Scotties, held January 10 - 14, 2018 in Whitby, Ontario.
 
Duncan finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Duncan lost 7-5 to Heather Heggestad (Oakville, ON), droppimg another game, 10-5 to Chrissy Cadorin (Thornhill, ON) where Duncan responded with a 9-6 win over Hailey Armstrong (Ottawa, ON). Duncan won 8-4 against Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON), then won 6-5 against Jacqueline Harrison (Mississauga, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Ontario Scotties Championship title, Duncan earned 29.890 world rankings points, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 46th place overall with 142.666 total points. Duncan ranks 35th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 87.563 points earned so far this season.
