Lewis finished 1-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lewis lost 8-2 to Martin Patry (Buckingham, QC), droppimg another game, 8-6 to Mark Homan (Baie d'Urfe, QC) where Lewis responded with a 8-1 win over Trent Skanes (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

Lewis earned 5.331 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the The Burnt Rock Curling Co. Carp Classic, moving up 20 spots the World Ranking Standings into 140th place overall with 27.6 total points.
