Cassandra Lewin (Carp, ON) run at the 2017 Moosehead Fall Open came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-2 loss to Guy Charette (Buckingham, QC). of the 2017 Moosehead Fall Open in Ottawa, Ontario; Lewin advanced through the quarterfinals with a 10-7 win over Jason Chang (Ottawa, ON). of the 2017 Moosehead Fall Open in Ottawa, Ontario;

Lewin finished 2-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lewin defeated Isabelle Neron (Chicoutimi, QC) 8-5, then went on to lose 7-1 against Steeve Gagnon (Montreal, QC). Lewin responded with a 7-1 win over Mathieu Drapeau (Drummondville, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

Lewin earned 5.542 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Moosehead Fall Open. For week 7 of the event schedule, Lewin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Lewin ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
