Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC) finished 2-0 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pierce defeated Stephen Schneider (New Westminster, BC) 11-4, then won 9-3 against Mark Longworth (Vernon, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the BC Mens - Okanagan Playdowns Championship title, Pierce earned 4.200 world rankings points. For week 18 of the event schedule, Pierce did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Pierce ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
