Ursi Hegner (Uzwil, SUI) qualified for the 2018 CCT City of Perth Ladies International playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-3 against Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg , SWE). of the 2018 CCT City of Perth Ladies International in Perth, Scotland;

Hegner finished 2-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hegner defeated Rebecca Morrison (Edinburgh, SCO) 8-3, then went on to lose 7-5 against Sophie Jackson (Dumfries, SCO). Hegner lost 5-4 to Eve Muirhead (Perth , SCO) where Hegner responded with a 8-1 win over Lisa Farnell (Tunbridge Wells, ENG). Hegner went on to lose 8-1 against Ayumi Ogasawara (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Hegner earned 12.098 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the CCT City of Perth Ladies International. Hegner move up 4 spots after posting a net gain of 11.475 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 57th overall with 113.183 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
