Kim finished 3-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim defeated Cynthia Gertsch (Dubendorf, SUI) 14-1, then won 5-2 against Ursi Hegner (Uzwil, SUI) and 5-4 against Therese Westman (Stocksund, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Paf Masters Tour Championship title, Kim earned 29.094 world rankings points along with the $12,521CDN first prize cheque, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 18th place overall with 263.539 total points.
