Marie Turmann/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST) 9-8, then won 8-1 against Eleanor Adviento/Brett Sargon (Naseby, NZL). Fujii/Aoki went on to lose 10-5 against Oona Kauste/Tomi Rantamaki (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Fujii/Aoki lost 7-4 to Ying Cao/My Yan Long (Harbin, CHN). Fujii/Aoki lost 7-2 to Ildiko Szekeres/Gyeorgy Nagy (Budapest, HUN) where Fujii/Aoki responded with a 11-2 win over Lynn Hewitt/Dean Hewitt (Glen Waverley, AUS). Fujii/Aoki went on to lose 9-5 against Kalynn Park/Charley Thomas (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
