To advance to the championship game, Wrana won 4-2 over Katelyn Wasylkiw (Unionville, ON) in the semifinals of the 2017 Gord Carroll Curling Classic in Whitby, Ontario, Canada; and won 10-7 over Roxane Perron (Quebec , QC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 Gord Carroll Curling Classic in Whitby, Ontario, Canada;
 
Wrana finished 3-1 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wrana defeated Erin Macaulay (Ottawa, ON) 7-3, then won 7-5 against Heather Heggestad (Barrie, ON) and 6-5 against Ontario's Kristina Adams. Wrana went on to lose 7-3 against Nina Roth (Blaine, USA) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Gord Carroll Curling Classic, Wrana take home 20.396 world rankings points along with the $1,600CDN prize. For week 12 of the event schedule, Wrana did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Wrana ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
