Dennis Bohn (Winnipeg, MB) is set to play Tanner Lott (Winnipeg Beach, MB) in the Final of the Fort Garry Industries Bonspiel, held November 3 - 6, 2017 at the Rossmere Golf and Country Club in Winnipeg, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Bohn won 1-0 over Riley Smith (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2017 Fort Garry Industries Bonspiel in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 1-0 over Travis Bale (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 Fort Garry Industries Bonspiel in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;
 
Bohn finished 4-2 in the 22-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bohn defeated Curtis McCannell (Winnipeg, MB) 8-3, then won 7-1 against Todd Birr (Blaine, MN). Bohn went on to lose 5-1 against Bale. Bohn lost 6-1 to Smith where Bohn responded with a 6-0 win over Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, MB). Bohn won 7-1 against Andrew Hunt (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Fort Garry Industries Bonspiel Championship title, Bohn earned 20.245 world rankings points along with the $2,700CDN first prize cheque, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 33rd place overall with 171.173 total points. Bohn ranks 31st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 59.697 points earned so far this season.
