8-5 to Dailene Pewarchuk (Victoria, BC), droppimg another game, 6-3 to Northwest Territories's Kerry Galusha where Gushulak responded with a 7-2 win over Kelly Shimizu (Richmond, BC). Gushulak went on to lose 6-3 against Kesa Van Osch (Nanaimo, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
