Geall finished 3-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Geall defeated Marc Pfister (Adelboden, SUI) 6-3, then went on to lose 6-2 against Edin. Geall responded with a 9-1 win over Wylie Eden (Vernon, BC). Geall won 3-2 against Josh Heidt (Saskatoon, SK). Geall went on to lose 8-5 against Dylan Johnston (Thunder Bay, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
Geall earned 23.531 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Ashley Home Store Curling Classic, moving up 31 spots the World Ranking Standings into 79th place overall with 58.854 total points.
