Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB) lost 7-6 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the Humpty's Champions Cup, held April 24 - 29, 2018 in Calgary, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Einarson won 6-4 over Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2018 Humpty's Champions Cup in Calgary, Alberta; and won 5-3 over Chelsea Carey (Calgary, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 Humpty's Champions Cup in Calgary, Alberta;

Einarson finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Einarson defeated Val Sweeting (Edmonton, AB) 7-2, then won 9-3 against Kaitlyn Jones (Chester, NS). Einarson went on to lose 6-4 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI). Einarson responded with a 7-4 win over Jones in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Humpty's Champions Cup, Einarson take home 58.961 world rankings points along with the $29,000CDN prize, remaining in 8th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 38.809 after improving upon their best so far this season. Einarson ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 357.686 points earned so far this season.
