Cotter/Cotter won 10-2 against Sarah Lamswood/Ryan Lamswood (Stephenville, NL), then won 9-6 against Nancy Martin/Catlin Schneider (Saskatoon, SK). Cotter/Cotter went on to lose 8-7 against Chelsea Carey/Colin Hodgson (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
