Lindstroem went on to lose 8-5 against Fredrik Julius (Sundbyberg, SWE). Lindstroem responded with a 5-4 win over Tony Poelder (Jonkoping, SWE). Lindstroem won 7-4 against David Nylund (Sundbyberg, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
