Robyn Silvernagle (North Battleford, SK) qualified for the 2017 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2 playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-4 against Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB).

Silvernagle finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Silvernagle defeated Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS) 9-5, then went on to lose 7-5 against Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI). Silvernagle lost 4-2 to Hannah Fleming (Lockerbie, SCO) where Silvernagle responded with a 6-3 win over Chantelle Eberle (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Silvernagle earned 19.763 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 2, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 47th place overall with 83.715 total points. Silvernagle ranks 23rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 20.906 points earned so far this season.
