Hasselborg finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hasselborg lost 9-3 to Michelle Englot (Winnipeg, MB), then responded with a 8-7 win over Tracy Fleury (Sudbury, NONT). Hasselborg won 8-4 against Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON), then won 4-2 against Tirinzoni in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1, Hasselborg take home 60.101 world rankings points along with the $15,000CDN prize, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 2nd place overall with 486.889 total points.
