Persinger responded with a 7-3 win over Jeffrey Knott (Dallas-Fort Worth, TX). Persinger won 10-2 against Ron Parks (Eau Claire, WI), then won 10-2 against Greg Schatzman (Seattle, WA) and 10-5 against Tucker Smith (Bismarck, ND). Persinger won 7-4 against Jeff Wright (Chicago, IL). Persinger went on to lose 9-5 against Mark Willmert (St. Paul, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
