Thomas Scoffin (Edmonton, AB) finished 6-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scoffin defeated Chris Sprinkhuysen (Lethbridge, AB) 9-1, then won 8-3 against Shayne MacGranachan (Brandon, MB) and 3-1 against Drew Springer (Regina, SK). Scoffin won 13-2 against Sprinkhuysen, then won 10-2 against MacGranachan and 7-2 against Springer in their final qualifying round match.
