Tallon went on to lose 11-3 against Odishaw. Tallon responded with a 5-2 win over Gary Mitchell (Saint John, NB). Tallon went on to lose 6-5 against Jean Guy Boudreau (Moncton, NB). Tallon responded with a 7-1 win over Robert Vaughan (Rothesay, NB). Tallon won 6-1 against David McCullum (Saint John, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
