Attinger finished 5-5 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Attinger defeated Marc Pfister (Adelboden, SUI) 7-6, then went on to lose 8-6 against Florian Meister (Zurich, SUI). Attinger lost 6-5 to Yves Hess (Zurich, SUI) where Attinger responded with a 9-6 win over De Cruz. Attinger went on to lose 6-5 against Yannick Schwaller (Bern, SUI). Attinger lost 9-5 to Pfister. Attinger lost 9-4 to De Cruz where Attinger responded with a 13-3 win over Hess. Attinger won 8-6 against Schwaller, then won 6-4 against Meister in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Swiss Curling Championship, Attinger take home 16.459 world rankings points, moving up 14 spots the World Ranking Standings into 56th place overall with 112.161 total points. Attinger ranks 86th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 38.222 points earned so far this season.
