Paetz finished 8-2 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Paetz defeated Ursi Hegner (Uzwil, SUI) 8-3, then won 8-7 against Feltscher and 6-5 against Elena Stern (Wetzikon, SUI). Paetz won 6-4 against Lisa Gisler (Bern, SUI), then won 7-5 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Zurich, SUI) and 8-3 against Gisler. Paetz won 7-5 against Hegner. Paetz went on to lose 10-7 against Stern. Paetz responded with a 6-4 win over Feltscher. Paetz went on to lose 4-2 against Tirinzoni in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Swiss Curling Championship Championship title, Paetz earned 28.329 world rankings points. Paetz move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 26.079 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 13th overall with 393.051 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Paetz ranks 17th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 164.418 points earned so far this season.
