Jacobs finished 7-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacobs defeated Ryan Sayer (New Liskeard, NONT) 7-2, then won 7-1 against Jordan Chandler (Sudbury, NONT) and 9-4 against Chris Glibota (Sudbury, NONT). Jacobs won 8-3 against Bryan Burgess (Kakabeka Falls, NONT), then won 8-2 against Johnston and 8-3 against Tanner Horgan (Copper Cliff, NONT). Jacobs won 6-5 against Al Hackner (Thunder Bay, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Northern Ontario Travelers Tankard Championship title, Jacobs earned 11.130 world rankings points. For week 26 of the event schedule, Jacobs did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Jacobs ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
