Chris Glibota (Sudbury, NONT) run at the 2017 Northern Ontario Travelers Tankard came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-7 loss to Dylan Johnston (Thunder Bay, NONT). of the 2017 Northern Ontario Travelers Tankard in Thunder Bay, Ontario;

Glibota finished 4-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Glibota lost 6-5 to Johnston, droppimg another game, 10-5 to Al Hackner (Thunder Bay, NONT). Glibota lost 9-4 to Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, ON) where Glibota responded with a 7-5 win over Tanner Horgan (Copper Cliff, NONT). Glibota won 7-1 against Jordan Chandler (Sudbury, NONT), then won 7-5 against Bryan Burgess (Kakabeka Falls, NONT) and 8-2 against Ryan Sayer (New Liskeard, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.

Glibota earned 6.758 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Northern Ontario Travelers Tankard, moving up 18 spots the World Ranking Standings into 126th place overall with 44.190 total points. Glibota ranks 89th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 37.697 points earned so far this season.
