Lloyd Fell (Unity, SK) finished 2-3 in the 19-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fell defeated Scott Bitz (Saskatoon, SK) 7-4, then went on to lose 9-2 against Brady Scharback (Saskatoon, SK).
