Hess won 8-6 against Florian Meister (Zurich, SUI). Hess went on to lose 8-7 against Felix Attinger (Dubendorf, SUI). Hess responded with a 7-2 win over Dimitri Boada (Geneve, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Swiss League Curling, Hess take home 10.106 world rankings points, moving up 24 spots the World Ranking Standings into 146th place overall with 37.205 total points.
