In their opening game, Fujisawa defeated Azusa Arakawa (Hokkaido, JPN) 14-3, then won 10-3 against Natsuki Saito (Aomori, JPN) and 8-3 against Misato Yanagisawa (Karuizawa, JPN). Fujisawa won 7-6 against Mayu Natsuizaka (sapporo, JPN), then won 11-1 against Chiaki Fukui (Hokkaido, JPN) and 5-3 against Matsumura. Fujisawa won 9-7 against Tori Koana (Yamanashi, JPN), then won 7-5 against Ayumi Ogasawara (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Japan Curling Championships, Fujisawa take home 15.675 world rankings points. Fujisawa move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 14.78 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 23rd overall with 258.563 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
