Natsuki Saito (Aomori, JPN) finished 2-6 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Saito lost 10-3 to Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN), then responded with a 9-2 win over Chiaki Fukui (Hokkaido, JPN). Saito went on to lose 9-2 against Ayumi Ogasawara (Sapporo, JPN). Saito lost 11-3 to Misato Yanagisawa (Karuizawa, JPN). Saito lost 6-1 to Chiaki Matsumura (Karuizawa, JPN). Saito lost 8-2 to Mayu Natsuizaka (sapporo, JPN) where Saito responded with a 6-5 win over Azusa Arakawa (Hokkaido, JPN). Saito went on to lose 10-4 against Tori Koana (Yamanashi, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Saito earned 1.425 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 25 of the event schedule, Saito did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 208th place on the World Ranking Standings with 4.473 total points. Saito ranks 215th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.790 points earned so far this season.
