Leichter won 6-4 against Aaron Squires (Kitchener-Waterloo, CAN). Leichter went on to lose 5-4 against Steffen Walstad (Oslo, NOR). Leichter lost 7-5 to Kohsuke Hirata (Kitami, JPN) where Leichter responded with a 7-5 win over Alexey Timofeev (Moscow, RUS). Leichter went on to lose 9-7 against Bruce Mouat (Stirling, UK). Leichter responded with a 10-4 win over Daniel Alex Kim (Almaty, KAZ) in their final qualifying round match.

Leichter earned 3.549 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 25 of the event schedule, Leichter did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Leichter ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
