Eskilsson won 10-3 against Kohsuke Hirata (Kitami, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Winter Universiade Men, Eskilsson take home 13.943 world rankings points, remaining in 39th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 195.093 total points. Eskilsson ranks 29th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 121.898 points earned so far this season.
