Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, CAN) finished 7-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rocque lost 9-8 to Jie Mei (HARBIN, CHN), then responded with a 6-2 win over Maike Beer (Fuessen, GER). Rocque won 5-3 against Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE), then won 7-4 against Victoria Moiseeva (Kaliningrad, RUS). Rocque went on to lose 9-5 against Gina Aitken (Edinburgh, UK). Rocque responded with a 6-5 win over Elena Stern (Wetzikon, SUI). Rocque won 13-2 against Ramina Yunicheva (Almaty, KAZ), then won 8-2 against EunJung Kim (Uiseong, KOR) and 10-5 against Pia Trulsen (Oslo, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Winter Universiade Women Championship title, Rocque earned 18.018 world rankings points. For week 25 of the event schedule, Rocque did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Rocque ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.

WOLFVILLE, N.S. — Edmonton’s Team Selena Sturmay solidified a berth into the 2025 Montana’s Canadian Curling Trials, presented by Connect Hearing, with a 9-4 win over Team Kayla MacMillan (Victoria) in the third and final game of the women’s best-of-three final at the 2025 Home Hardware Canadian Pre-Trials on Sunday afternoon.
