In their opening game, Curtis lost 7-5 to Heather Strong (St. John's, NL), then responded with a 9-5 win over Beth Hamilton (St. Jphn's, NL). Curtis won 8-5 against Shelley Hardy (St. John's, NL), then won 8-2 against Cindy Miller (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Newfoundland & Labrador Scotties Championship title, Curtis earned 3.150 world rankings points. For week 24 of the event schedule, Curtis did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Curtis ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
