To advance to the championship game, Adams won 6-5 over Justine Comeau (Fredericton, NB) in the semifinals of the 2017 New Brunswick Scotties in Miramichi, New Brunswick;
 
Adams finished 4-2 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Adams defeated Shelly Graham (Fredericton, NB) 8-3, then won 9-2 against Shaelyn Park (Moncton, NB). Adams went on to lose 9-4 against Comeau. Adams responded with a 6-5 win over Mallais. Adams won 8-2 against Shannon Tatlock (Moncton, NB). Adams went on to lose 6-5 against Sylvie Robichaud (Moncton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the New Brunswick Scotties Championship title, Adams earned 6.825 world rankings points, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 105th place overall with 40.749 total points.
